Class for People with Parkinson's Cancelled

We are sorry to announce that we were unable to meet the registration numbers required to run the Delay the Disease Exercise Class scheduled to begin on Monday, September 9th at Elevate in Redwood City. As such, this 8-week class has been cancelled. While we truly wish to support the community and especially those with Parkinson's or other neurodegenerative conditions, adequate participation and engagement from that community is needed to sustain our efforts. As such, we will not be offering another Parkinson's related class in 2019. We will revisit the possibility again in the New Year and keep you informed of potential classes as well as other education or participation opportunities.

Meanwhile, Elevate is always happy to work with anyone privately. Our team of partners includes PT, Functional Medicine, Massage, Yoga, Pilates, and private fitness training. The other products and services discussed in the Parkinson's Symposium last month are also available to anyone interested, including the hemp oil, neurofeedback socks and insoles, REOX supplement to boost glutathione production, and others. Please feel free to reach out to us if we can be of any service for you or your friends and family.

We have monthly education seminars of various topics that may be interesting for you. The next is about cellular health on Saturday September 21st at 1 pm. Check out our Facebook Page, Website, or Instagram to learn about the happenings and the latest science we incorporate at Elevate!

We wish you all the best and want to encourage you to KEEP MOVING!

Just Move It! Class for People with Parkinson's is Back!

Starting next week, Elevate Performance will be offering group exercise for people with Parkinson’s. Delay the Disease is an evidence-based fitness program designed to empower those living with Parkinson’s disease by optimizing their physical function and helping to delay the progression of symptoms.

This national wellness program is designed to retrain the mind and body. Participants report improvement in quality of life, have regained ability to successfully manage the disease and maintenance of independence. This program targets daily functional challenges and symptom-specific agendas. Exercise plans are adapted to all levels of the disease, valuable to newly diagnosed and progressed states alike.

We feel that addressing multiple facets of physiology and lifestyle will be more impactful than the exercise class alone. As such, we are offering packages that include supplies and services which will be discussed at the symposium. As of right now there are 2 package options for the 8-week program - the Integrative Package is $1000 and the Comprehensive Package is $2000, both offering a discount as compared to purchasing the package offerings separately. The individual products and services will be available a la carte as well. Call us to discuss the package options.

Bay Area Parkinson's Symposium at Elevate

We had a blast hosting the first Parkinson’s Symposium at Elevate Performance last weekend! Our goal was to introduce or review simple and effective strategies for reducing the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease (PD), preventing progression of PD and/or onset of PD, and provide ideas for new ways to complement the commonly known therapeutic interventions.

We started with mindfulness, meditation and focus with Keith Erickson. Visit Keith’s website to learn more information about his teachings as well as about his personal battle with PD:

Nadine Waeghe, PT ATC reviewed tips for self-management and environmental contributors to disease progression. The cool demonstration about NeuroFeedback technology that helps with balance and function piqued quite a lot of interest. The company is called VOXX HPT and they are based out of Canada - check out to learn more!

Dr. LeTa Jussila shared a bit of history about our Endo-Cannabinoid System and how we produce powerful cannabinoids ourselves. She also gave us an overview of how to detect if a cannabinoid deficiency may present and then how to safely supplement for it through the phyto-cannabinoids found predominately in the Cannabis / Hemp plant.

Here is a short clip on the effect of cannabis with a Parkinson's patient:
Visit our website with tons more information about the CBG/CBD products: or contact us directly.

Ranya Anabtawi led us through a mini Chair Yoga session. If you are interested in private lessons or attending one of Ranya's yoga classes throughout the peninsula you can contact her directly: Yoga by Ranya - or

Mary Bai finished our "lecture" schedule with a great presentation about her specialty skill of muscle rebalancing. Mary is an excellent therapist and she has taken a keen interest in PD and other neurodegenerative conditions. Learn more about Mary's work and research at :

We finished the symposium with a short demonstration of our Delay the Disease exercise class - starting next week, we will be launching an 8-week program for people with Parkinson's. Stay tuned for more information about the program and how to sign up!

Recept - Groundbreaking New CBG Formula Has Arrived!

We are about to let you in on another secret! Besides a respiratory system, digestive system, endocrine system, and the others we refer to daily, we each have an endocannabinoid system. It is a regulator and it needs to be at optimal function to do its job. CBG serves as the pre-cursor or mother phytocannabinoid to many others, including CBD and THC. Having a direct effect on the Endocannabinoid System and cannabinoid receptors, CBG provides a wealth of benefits that support preventative, chronic, and acute care. A major finding of CBG is its neuro-protective and neuro-regenerative traits. It is also a valuable resource for gut health!

Good news! There is a fabulous, safe, effective and inexpensive supplement for that. Great news! It comes from a plant not a chemical factory.

Resolve with Redox!

Elevate always strives to help you be well and we work with you to restore health on a cellular level. In April, we hosted an amazing educational event with a panel of scientists, integrative medicine specialists, and healthcare practitioners who have gathered to discuss the latest breakthroughs in cellular science, encouraging us to think outside the box and get to the root cause of our health issues.

Redox signaling is a relatively new field of science, and all new things require time and ongoing education to gain credibility among medical professionals. However, being backed up by numerous research (over 800 000 scientific articles!) and testimonials from REAL people with REAL conditions, the world will soon get on board of the most revolutionary train and knock down the walls of conventional medicine - because it works!

Thanks to Dr. Gary Samuelson, Dr. Ahvie Herskowitz, Dr. Ann Lee, & Dr. Erick Razz for sharing their knowledge and clinical experiences.

SCENAR Technology

Our body has all the abilities to regulate its own vital functions or simply put, heal itself through the release of neuromediators such as amino acids, purine nucleotides, and neuropeptides to relieve pain and initiate the healing sequence.

SCENAR, or Self-Controlled-Energo-Neuro-Adaptive-Regulator, is an electric neuro-stimulating device, which uses biofeedback technology to craft its impulse in accordance with the brain’s response to stimulate the release of the neuropeptides to speed up the healing process. While conventional therapeutic devices are passive, SCENAR involves active reflex biofeedback, which means that the device communicates actively with the processes that are happening in the body. The SCENAR device does this by monitoring the skin’s impedance and then changes the electrical impulse it emits accordingly. The electrical signals generated by the SCENAR device are similar in form to the body’s own neurological impulses. Therefore, the body does not recognize them as foreign or invasive and negative side effects as a result of the therapy are rare.

Our practitioners are officially SCENAR-certified with advanced training in a wide variety of treatment protocols.  The Elevate team utilizes the SCENAR device every day for all types of injuries and pathologies, with remarkable results in recovery terms.
